Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refund eligibility for services booked with Speedco Logistics (“Company”). By engaging our services, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. General Policy
- All bookings are subject to confirmation and availability of equipment and Carriers.
- Once a shipment is dispatched to a Carrier, the Company incurs administrative and operational costs. Therefore, certain fees may apply for cancellations and changes.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed back to the original form of payment within 7–10 business days.
2. Cancellation Before Dispatch
- Customers may cancel a shipment request before dispatch to a Carrier without penalty.
- Any deposits or prepayments made will be fully refundable in such cases.
3. Cancellation After Dispatch
- If a shipment is cancelled after dispatch but before pickup, a cancellation fee may apply (typically covering truck repositioning, driver time, or administrative costs).
- The minimum cancellation fee is $150.00 or 10% of the quoted shipment cost, whichever is greater.
- Deposits made are generally non-refundable once a Carrier has been assigned and confirmed.
4. No-Show or Freight Not Ready
- If the Carrier arrives at the pickup location and the freight is not available, improperly prepared, or inaccessible, the Customer may be charged a dry run fee.
- Such fees will be deducted from any refundable portion, and the balance (if any) will be returned.
5. Rescheduling & Changes
- Customers may request rescheduling or changes to shipment details. The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
- If rescheduling requires reassignment to a new Carrier, additional costs may apply.
- Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of pickup may incur a service fee.
6. Auto Transportation (USA Only)
- For auto transport services, once a vehicle has been dispatched to a Carrier, any cancellations will incur a dispatch fee of $200.00 or 15% of the total cost, whichever is greater.
- Refunds will not be issued once the vehicle is in transit.
7. Force Majeure & Delays
- Cancellations or delays caused by weather, natural disasters, government regulations, strikes, accidents, or other events beyond the Company’s control are not eligible for refunds.
- In such cases, shipments may be rescheduled without penalty where possible.
8. Non-Refundable Services
- Accessorial services (e.g., liftgate, storage, detention, permits, escorts, etc.) are non-refundable once ordered or performed.
- Any third-party fees already incurred on the Customer’s behalf cannot be refunded.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations must be submitted in writing within 15 days of the scheduled pickup date.
- Disputes will be handled in accordance with the Company’s Terms & Conditions and governed by the laws of the State of Texas (Dallas County, Northern District of Texas).
